All of the hikers took the Romero Pools trail, then the three groups each hiked for different distances along the trail. Eight hikers went 5.64 miles then returned to the trailhead. 20 hiked 6.3 mi. to the Romero Pools, and 5 went beyond Romero Pools for a total round trip distance of 9.8 mi.

Directions:
Take I-10 South and take Exit 240. Turn left (east) on Tangerine Road. In 13.5 miles turn right onto Oracle Road, then in 0.2 miles turn left into Catalina State Park. At a guard shack purchase a car pass for $6.00 or $7.00. Proceed to the parking lot. (61 miles to trailhead).Google Maps to Catalina State Park

Difficult hike: To Romeo Pools. 6 mi. B
Easier hike: To the Pusch Ridge Vista: 5 mi. B-/C+
