March 23, 2018 - Casa Grande Mountain - Arica Trailhead - Last Hike and Picnic - Certificates

Three groups of hikers had their last hike for the year at Casa Grande Mountain. Along the way hikers payed tribute to Harm Thomas who hiked with this group and helped develop the trails at Casa Grande Mountain. This monument was built at "Harm's Way" on the trail and placed by Mike Colton and Peter Hughes.

March 18th, 2018 - The Natural Bridge - Chiricahua National Monument

A forest fire burned much of this area several years ago. The charred trees remain along the trail. The trail becomes steep, then winds down into a forested area with pine trees. We can view the natural bridge across a canyon. A beautiful hike.

The Long Hikers hiked the same trail as the rest of the group. They left a little earlier in the morning.

The middle hikers and short hikers hiked close together on this trail.
