Take Highway179, turn left on the Verde Valley Schoolhouse Rd. to the Baldwin Trailhead near the end of the road. (34°49'18.73"N, 111°48'29.16"W).

Our hike was about 4 mi. on a beautiful lollypop loop. There a climb up Cathedral Rock at the turnaround point.

On this hike, we stayed at Cliff Castle Casino Hotel.

See Website link for the hike.

The hike starts at the Baldwin Trailhead, starting on the right side, going counterclockwise on the trail. This meets up with Templeton where it leads to Cathedral Rock. On this hike, no one hiked up to the Cathedral Rock Summit. Then we back down the same trail to Baldwin and then hiked the remaining Baldwin trail (left side) which takes us back to the trailhead.
