Driving Directions: Drive south on I-10. Take exit 200, Sunland Gin Rd. and turn right. In ½ block turn right on W. Arica Rd. Travel west on Arica Rd. to the end of the road in the gravel parking lot.
All hikes will include a trail section named “Harm’s Way” including a monument to Harm built and placed by Mike Colton and Peter Hughes. Your hike leader will give you a short history of Harm Thomas and his contributions to the Palm Creek Hikers.
The hikes were be followed by a picnic of fried chicken and salad for $5
Cold Beer, 7-up, and Coke $1 each. Everyone brought lawn chairs.
Mileage Awards will be handed out.
